FAQ

How many photographers will be there to photograph my wedding?

Either one or two, depending on availability and/or your own decision. This is usually discussed at the time of booking.


What cameras do you shoot with?

We shoot on two Nikon D750’s with various professional lenses ranging from 16mm all the way up to a 200mm telephoto lens.


Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! As wedding photographers we are covered by both Professional Indemnity Insurance up to £50,000 and Public Liability Insurance up to £1,000,000.


What if you have to travel, who pays the travel costs?

Traveling costs are included in the price of the package up to 70 miles. Anything further out, or destination weddings, is sorted on an individual basis where the couple pays for travel and accommodation if necessary.


How many photos will be taken over the course of our wedding day or event?

This depends on a number of things such as timings, number of guests, the venue, and lighting and whether you have one or two photographers there. Usually we take upward of 2000 photos, making sure we cover every part of your day down to the smallest detail. This also gives us a large selection to choose from when editing the photos for you.


How many photos will we actually receive?

Again it depends on a number of factors. Usually our shortest wedding packages produce upward of 200 photos minimum. With most weddings the average number of edited photos numbers around 350-400. 


How many photographs will be in our photobook?

Usually our books are 12x12 containing 10 spreads (20 pages) and the amount of images varies from wedding to wedding as each book is custom designed by us. Usually it is 40-50 photographs. If you wish to get extra spreads you can always do so at an additional cost.


Will we receive a USB of high resolution images?

Depending on the package/promotion you book us under. The clients booking us under the full price will, as well as getting access to an online gallery, also get their photos presented on a beautiful personalized USB Flash drive, in High Res along with copies optimised for social media sharing. If you book us and your package/promotion doesn’t include the USB you can always get it as an add on for £50.00.


Do you digitally manipulate the photos and how much?

All of our photos are professionally processed. As documentary photographers we will almost never manipulate the essence of a photo.


Will we have any formal group shots?

Yes, if you want them! Although we pride ourselves in our photo-journalistic style we have no problem with taking some formal (or fun) group shots. This is all discussed with each couple and we work to cater to their tastes. In most cases our weddings are shot in a candid, fly on the wall style. But we do take a bit of time away to get some group shots in, as well as some shots of the bride and groom on their own. Usually the couple will note down the group photos they want beforehand and appoint a person to “herd” all the individuals needed so that everything runs a bit smoother.


Do we have to provide your meal?

It is absolutely up to you whether you want to provide us with a meal. Most of our clients who have us for a full day do, be it the same meal as them or some bar food. Either way we come prepared with snacks/bars that can be eaten quickly. We usually eat at the same time as the guests, as most people find photos of them eating unflattering!


How can we see our photos online?

Once your photos have been curated and edited by us we will create a password protected online gallery with all of your wedding photos. We then send you an email with the link and the instructions on how to view your photos.


How will we receive our photobook?

Once your wedding album is designed and edited by us we will send it off to a printing lab. The lab sends the finished wedding album to us for a quality check. If we are happy with the final product we will personally mail your photobook to you. This process can take as much as six to eight weeks.


How do we book you?

Get in touch with us, let us know the date and location of your wedding and then we go from there. Once you decide to book us to photograph your wedding we require a 20% deposit (Or £200 if booking under a promotion)  and we sign a contract. By doing so you have secured our services for that date.
